How it works
Who is eligible for housing?
We distinguish between primary and secondary system users
We primarily help students and staff at the University of Copenhagen, but also others if we have additional capacity. The table below indicates who we automatically consider as part of our primary customers and who are therefore automatically eligible for our services.
PRIMARY STUDENTS | PRIMARY STAFF (including PhD students) |
---|---|
Full degree students, Exchange students, guest students, and Erasmus Mundus students. | International staff including teachers and professors |
Erasmus Trainees and students doing internship | International PhD and Postdoc students |
International students signed up for summer courses | Researchers and other guests |
We help our primary customers first.
If we still have more capacity after serving primary users, we can consider individual applications from the following secondary groups:
SECONDARY STUDENTS | SECONDARY STAFF (including PhD-Students) |
---|---|
International students at other universities in Copenhagen. Eg. DTU, Aalborg University, RUC. | International staff at other Universities in Copenhagen. Eg. Aalborg University, RUC, DTU, |
We do not help Danish citizens
We only help international students and staff. Even if you are an international visitor, you must inform us if you have Danish citizenship—in that case we cannot help you.
