Once your tenancy is over, it is very important that you deregister your address. It is necessary for future contact from the government. Additionally, you will have to deregister so that future tenants can register on the address.
If your exchange is finished and you are leaving the country, you will have to deregister and announce your departure. You will find more information on how to do it here.
However, if you are planning on staying in Denmark and you are moving out because your rental period is finished, you will simply have to register a change of address.

Please note that a failure to deregister or change your address will result in a large fine.
